Updates To Our COVID-19 Policy
Amid the changing restrictions surrounding Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and to continue to keep our staff, clients, community, and patients safe, we are implementing the following guidelines at Weston Veterinary Clinic.
Beginning Monday, June 14, 2021, we will ask all clients to remain in their car when arriving at the clinic. Please send a text to (833) 575-1107 to announce your arrival and your preference for exam (curbside or in-person). Those who have scheduled appointments with a doctor and wish to have an in-person consult will be allowed 1 family member to accompany their pet into the building. When the medical team is ready to see your pet, you will receive a text letting you know to bring your pet to their designated exam room. After completion of your pet’s exam, we request that you return to your car as we finish your pet’s remaining treatments and diagnostics. Your pet will be returned to you at your car and the front desk staff will call to complete the financial transaction over the phone.
For all other scheduled appointments (including drop offs for procedures and tech appointments), we will ask that you remain in your car for the duration of your appointment. Masks will be required for everyone inside the building.
In addition, please follow the below guidelines when visiting the clinic.
- If you are healthy and otherwise feeling well, we ask that you remain in your car and call the clinic once you arrive for your appointment. We will check you in and take your pet’s history over the phone. A technician will come out to your car to retrieve you pet and we will ask that you remain in your car for the duration of the appointment.
- If you are feeling unwell and your pet is NOT in need of urgent care, please call the clinic to reschedule your pet’s appointment.
- If you are feeling unwell and your pet NEEDS urgent veterinary care, sending a healthy friend or family member is the best option. If you are unable to send a healthy friend or family member with your pet, please call the office and we will advise on next steps.
As new information becomes available, the above steps may be altered, and we will keep you apprised of any changes. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation while we do our part to help keep our community healthy!
